Above 100
As gentrification becomes increasingly prevalent in Harlem and Spanish Harlem, more and more of the arts community is drawn above 100th Street for the lower rent. This magazine is to benefit this population by educating them about the rich culture of the area as well as discussing upcoming events. The greatest focus of the Above 100 is on art and entertainment. In that vein, it became evident that an exploratory aesthetic was necessary to relate to the topic as well as the demographic.
